Introducing Ella's New Friend....Nina

We were invited over to Nina's to try out her new swing set. Needless to say the girls had a fabulous time outside. Since neither of them like to share the inside toys very well, outside play was terrific. They are both two...sharing isn't really high on their list of priorities.

Ming-ming- Ella's favorite character

This is Ella's latest fascination...the Wonder Pets! It is her favorite show by far and she loves to sing along with them. The show is about three classroom pets that help save baby animals after all the kids have left for the day. The threesome consists of Linny, the guinea pig, Ming-Ming, the duckling, and Tuck, the turtle. Most of the dialog is sung and they work together each episode to demonstrate teamwork. It is really cute!

For some reason I am usually the one taking the photos of Ella and therefore, I don't have a lot with just the two of us. So, here we are. Mommy got some good Ella lovin'!

Family Vacation- Folly Beach 2008

It was another successful vacation for the Hardin family. We once again visited Folly Beach, SC. A different house was chosen this year as our numbers seem to increase on a yearly basis lately. We played on the beach, spent time cooking together and enjoying meals, baked in the sun, and visited downtown Charleston as well as the South Carolina Aquarium.

The aquarium was a huge hit with Ella. She spent much of the time running from one tank to the next amazed by all the different creatures. Our 55 gallon fish tank at home is rather small in comparison to their gigantic tanks. Needless to say, she certainly enjoyed herself and was rather worn out afterwards.

Dan and I even managed a night out to ourselves....thanks Mom and Dad! We visited Pearlz Oyster Bar for the second year in row. It is amazing! If you love raw oysters, then this is the place for you. It always amazes me how peaceful life becomes when our little whirlwind is so sound asleep.

Our Little Mechanic

Ella is Da-da's number one little helper and loves to help with all his projects...even putting new brakes on Ma-ma's car. Perhaps these skills learned at such an early age will come in handy one day for little Ella.

North Carolina Spring Break 2008

Ella and I enjoyed a week long visit with my parents the end of April. My mom, the teacher, was on Spring Break and my Dad was also fortunate to be off that week as well. As always, we had a wonderful time! The only thing that would have made it better could have been Dan joining us. Everything was in bloom and it was amazing! Even my allergies weren't too bad while we were there.

Ella played with Grandmommy and spent time in the pasture with Granddaddy and all the animals. She danced and rode on a mini ATV. She loved playing with her cousins, Ezra and Cyrus! She wanted to stay longer!

We visited with family and friends and even met the newest addition to the Hardin clan, Jonah Cai Hardin. Jonah was born April 17th and is an absolute cutie!

Our visits never last long enough, but we do love to visit North Carolina!

Dan, Ella and I are all looking forward to seeing my family again at the beach this summer for our annual family vacation and are simply counting the days!
