Visit to DC
At the beginning of February, we took a short weekend trip to DC to visit friends. We stayed two nights with our friends Justin, Daniela, and little cutie Max. Max was born in December and Ella was a little unsure of what exactly he could do on his own. She really liked looking at him...a lot. I was able to get my Korean food cravings satisfied and visit with friends...it was wonderful! We also visited other friends that we had made while working in DC. Unfortunately, Dan came down with the flu and we had to cut our trip short. He spent the next four days in bed. Needless to say, we didn't get to visit as many folks as we would have liked. Fortunately, DC isn't that far away and of course our home is always open to guests as well.
16 months and counting!
Wow! How time does fly. It is truly amazing that Ella is 16 months old and we have been living in Grandma Steele's house for almost a year now. Ella is very active and extremely curious about everything. She loves to read books, stack and quickly knock down the blocks, push her baby in the stroller and dance like crazy! What more could we ask for from a 16 month old?!?
We are all anxiously awaiting Spring and warmer weather. Dan and I keep wishing that is will be sooner rather than later. We have so many hopes and dreams for the warmer weather to come. Gardening, painting, working on the house, playing with Ella outside without her gigantic winter coat and so much more are on our list. Come soon Spring!
